Khaled Belhedi is a senior transportation systems leader with over 22 years of experience delivering complex ITS, ATMS, GIS, and major transit infrastructure programs across North America, Europe, and the Middle East. He has led national ITS master planning initiatives, citywide ATMS implementations, enterprise GIS strategies, and real-time operational platforms for public sector clients at municipal, regional, and national levels.
Khaled’s work focuses on translating operational needs into implementable systems, standards, and workflows that improve reliability, safety, and decision-making in high-consequence environments.
At ITS Canada 2026, Khaled will present practical applications of agentic AI in Traffic Management Centres, demonstrating how structured workflow automation can enhance operational consistency, reduce manual workload, and strengthen governance while maintaining human-in-the-loop control.
