Nader Ayoub

Mr. Ayoub has over 42 years of experience in traffic operations specializing in vehicle detection and control systems design, ITS communications design, ITS/signal system implementation and ITS project management. He has a background in working in vehicle detection research for the Texas Transportation Institute, the public sector working for the Texas Department of Transportation, and in the private sector working in applications engineering. He currently is working for Iteris as the Vice President of the Solutions Engineering Group and leads a team that specializes in system design, operations, and signal systems optimization. He has extensive experience in project management and deployment of traffic signal control systems. He has established procedures and recommended practices for the operation of traffic signals in the areas of detector design and operation, coordination and special phasing which have been adopted by TxDOT. In addition, Mr. Ayoub has developed training courses for traffic signal operations and design.
