Michael McGuire

Michael is a recognized leader in the intelligent transportation industry, currently serving as Managing Director of Ramudden Digital which he co-founded as Stinson ITS in 2015, later establishing it as an independent entity in 2020. (Stinson ITS was acquired in 2022 by Ramudden Global and now operates as Ramudden Digital)

Beginning his career as a field technician, Michael learned ITS hands-on with a strong technical foundation. This allowed him to bridge the gap between engineering and the real world, driving innovative solutions in safety and data collection. Moving from tech support to sales, and then to management, Michael works closely with the team on all aspects of the business as it continues to grow.

Michael has led the development of key products, including the Stinson AIS Travel Time sensor, powering Ontario’s provincial travel time network, and Ramudden Digital’s SmartWatch system, an AI-driven solution for data collection and safety. He remains a senior project advisor and closely engaged on all major initiatives.

Passionate about advancing transportation technology, Michael continues to drive innovation and industry best practices.

Michael is a Director on the ITS Canada Board since 2025, Co-chair of the membership services committee, as well as a Senior Advisor to the Tech Hub’s “Canada ITS Project Map” initiative.
Michael is a member of TAC’s ITS committee, as well as a member of the Technology Council.
