Keenan Kitasaka

Keenan Kitasaka is a Senior Professional Engineer with over 40 years of experience, including almost 28 years in the public sector (federal, provincial and regional levels) and 13 years in the private sector. Keenan’s 40 year career has been in all phases of ITS, from strategic planning to design, construction support, acceptance testing, operations, and maintenance. Keenan has worked extensively throughout Canada and the US, leading ITS initiatives in highways, transit, tolling, commercial transportation, traffic management centres, digital plans, border ports of entry, and technology assessments. Keenan is an active speaker / moderator / supporter of transportation associations such as ITS Canada, TAC, and CITE. Keenan has served for 3 terms on the ITS Canada Board of Directors and on various technical committees.
