ITSC 2026 Speakers Note

Dear ITS Canada 2026 panelist/speaker/moderator,

Thank you for contributing your expertise to the upcoming ITS Canada 2026 Annual Conference, taking place in Edmonton, Alberta May 20-22, We are excited to welcome you as part of this year’s conference program.

To help you prepare, please review the important speaker resources and requirements below.

  1. Speaker Registration Required
    1. All speakers must be registered for the conference to participate. Please complete your registration as soon as possible to ensure your place in the program.
  2. Book Your Accommodations
    1. We encourage speakers to secure accommodations early, as April 20th is the cut-off date to take advantage of preferred rates. More details, including preferred rates and booking links, can be found here
  3. Panel Sessions (60 minutes each)
    1. If you are participating in a panel session, please note:
      • Sessions are designed to encourage engaging discussion among panelists and with the audience.
      • If presentations are used, moderators will determine the order of presenters so slides can be collated for smooth session management.
      • Presentations should be limited to five (5) slides.
      • Slides must be submitted in Adobe PDF or Microsoft PowerPoint format.
      • Submission deadline: May 2, 2025.
      • Each session will have a moderator whose role is to stimulate conversation and support effective audience engagement.
      • Oral Presentation Sessions (60 or 90 minutes)
    2. If you are delivering an oral presentation, please follow these guidelines:
      • Sessions include 4 or 6 speakers, depending on total session length.
      • Presentations are limited to a maximum of 12 minutes, followed by 3 minutes of audience Q&A.
      • Presentation decks should contain no more than 10 slides.
      • Slides must be submitted in Adobe PDF or Microsoft PowerPoint format.
      • Submission deadline: May 2, 2025.
      • A session moderator will help guide discussion and ensure each speaker and the session overall stay on schedule.
  4. Slide Submission
    • All presentation files (panel or oral) must be uploaded using the instructions using this link and this PPT template. Deadline for all slide submissions: May 2, 2025.
